Slow cooker caramel apple hot cider

Easy Caramel Apple Hot Cider Recipe

Yield: 30 servings
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 (2 Quart) Jugs Spiced Apple Cider
  • 1 (16 oz) Carton Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 3/4 to 1 Cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

    1. Add the Spiced Apple Cider, Heavy Whipping Cream, and brown sugar to a 8-Quart Slow Cooker. Whisk it together well.
    2. Cover and set your slow cooker on LOW until it reaches your desired temperature (about two hours usually) and then put it on WARM.
    3. Stir well and then ladle it into your favorite mug! It will stay yummy all day long as long as you are stirring it occasionally and cover it back up when it’s not being consumed.

Notes

*3/4 Cup liquid sweetener (Agave) and a Tablespoon or so of Molasses would be an even healthier alternative to the brown sugar should you choose to do so.

** Do not cook on high to speed up the warming process as it will most likely curdle the cream.

It is super simple and my only suggestions are that you get to where you are going to be serving it before you make it.

Otherwise it may slosh all over everywhere. It definitely would not do well in a car on the way to someone’s house.

Also, that this recipe is going to serve a LOT of people.
