White Distilled Vinegar in the Dryer

Have you ever left your clean clothes in the washer for a little longer than expected and they get that nasty mildew smell? I hope I am not the only one that does that occasionally. Did you know that you don’t always have to rewash the entire load?(Great news if you’re in a rush.) I find that if I pour about 1/3 cup of white distilled vinegar into a rag and put it in the dryer with the clothes it will remove the smell completely. Vinegar is a great natural deodorizer.  *Please note that if you’ve left the clothes in the washer so long that the smell about knocks you off your feet you are going to definitely need to rewash them.
